Program description

Kings in Christ ShepherdOS — Leader Notifications is a text notification program operated by Kings in Christ for the volunteer leaders of its ShepherdOS follow-up ministry. It sends ministry notifications about the men each leader is responsible for checking in on.

Who receives messages

Only Kings in Christ leaders who have signed in to Kings in Christ ShepherdOS and explicitly opted in on their own account page. We do not message the general public, we do not purchase or rent phone number lists, and no one is enrolled by an administrator on their behalf.

How consent is obtained

A leader enters their mobile number and checks an unchecked box on the “My Account” page of Kings in Christ ShepherdOS. The box reads, in full:

I agree to receive recurring automated SMS notifications from Kings in Christ regarding ShepherdOS follow-up assignments, check-in confirmations, overdue follow-ups, and weekly leadership summaries. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is optional and is not required to access ShepherdOS or serve as a Kings in Christ leader.

We record the date and time of the opt-in, the mobile number given, the exact wording shown above, the IP address, and the browser used, so that each consent can be evidenced individually.

Message and data rates may apply. Kings in Christ does not charge for this program.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages. You may also uncheck the consent box on your My Account page at any time. To resume messages, reply START or check the box again.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost, MetroPCS, Cricket, and others.

Your privacy

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in information or consent with third parties. Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS are used solely to deliver the messages described above and are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Consent is not a condition

Consent to receive text messages is optional. It is not a condition of accessingKings in Christ ShepherdOS, of serving as a Kings in Christ leader, or of receiving any other ministry service. Leaders who do not opt in continue to receive the same information by email and in the app.
